The Sugarplum Ball — Cameron Jordan

I was thrilled to collaborate with Tyler Scott and Wayward Queers once again to score an original musical, The Sugarplum Ball. Tyler and I worked tirelessly after DNDQ: Second Edition closed to write this 90 minute musical, a loose prequel to the classic story of The Nutcracker. Fringe ArtSpace were such gracious hosts to help bring this production to life.

We were so fortunate to get RuPaul’s Drag Race Star, Ginger Minj to star as The Sugarplum Fairy and bring new life to this magical world Tyler and I created.

Moreso, this was the first time I ever had my music played by a live band with The Blacklist Babes bringing my music to life!

This musical turned out to be a family friendly story of love, loss and how we handle grief; it became such a labor of love and I am immensely proud of it!
